
This was fun for the last quilt I had to work on, and I decided to make a row of 2" Variable Stars, one of my favorite blocks. Here is the result:

She requested scrappy rows which was a bit different from what I usually do, but I knew right away I would make some traditional star blocks to go with her log cabins. Here is the result:
I decided to work with batik fabrics in cool bright colors and I love stars so I chose that as my theme. My row will be 2 1/4" wide when it is finished, about 14" long. I mailed the row and some extra fabrics off to Nansi this week and have already received a package from Virginia to work on next.
